Always unplug the kettle from the mains supply socket and allow it to completely cool down before cleaning or descaling it. Do not immerse the kettle, power base or power cord and plug in water or any other liquid., Before removing or refitting the filter, switch off the kettle and empty it. Allow it to cool completely, then unplug the power base from the mains supply socket. Never operate the kettle without the filter fitted., Removable, cleanable limescale filter concealed element for easy cleaning, Open the lid and remove the filter frombehind the spout. Rinse the filter under a tap whilstbrushing it with a soft brush. In hard water areas it may benecessary to descale the filter using adescaling product. Use a proprietarydescaling product following themanufacturer s instructions carefully. The filter may be washed safely in thecutlery rack of a dishwasher. Refit the filter back into your kettle.
